what our clients say...

"Working with both Mark Wright and Liz Margree has been a refreshing change for me. They are two extremely bright creative people. They are extremely candid about what they can and can not do. This rare quality engenders a lot of trust with me. They keep their commitments and deliver stellar work. They push both themselves and their clients from a position of comfort to a place that delivers more progressive and satisfying results. I very much enjoy my relationship with them. They get us!"

Julius James, UBS

Who gets it already?

Over the last few years Mark Wright, the founder of People Create, has spent time with very many learning and development professionals from some of the largest, smallest, most established and most forward thinking companies in the UK. These conversations have often led to insights into why we are all the same and yet all different; why we crave and yet fear change and how we find our own ways to lead, manage and follow.

We love to design and deliver responsive, creative and tailored solutions to the learning, development and performance aspirations of our clients. We do this by continually bringing together our own broad learning design expertise with an unparalleled range of experienced and talented partners and business facilitators to deliver fantastic, memorable and tangible change.

Here are some stories about work we are doing with some of our clients:

Cultural Leadership International (British Council)

Cultural Leadership International logoIn the Spring of 2009 we were asked to contribute some thinking to an ambitious new international leadership development programme being developed by the British Council in partnership with the Cultural Leadership Programme.

As a consequence of this thinking, we were then asked to be part of the pilot phase of this new initiative, now called Cultural Leadership International. This first phase involved drawing together over 80 emerging cultural leaders from across Europe, North Africa and the Gulf States and helping them consider what leadership in the cultural sector is for them in an international context.

This involved some intense and challenging workshops in Madrid, Bahrain and Amman, working with some amazing, creative people...

Developing Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young logoOur brief was how to make the most of the impending Ernst & Young office move to the prestigious Bridgewater Place development in Leeds. We really wanted to co-create something that achieved three hits in one and needed to:

  • Involve Ernst & Young people in shaping their new working environment
  • Create a sense of cohesion and "connectedness" across teams moving from three floors in the old office to one open plan floor
  • Develop a powerful client message that centres on the talents and stories of the individuals working for them.

This was the starting point for "Developing Ernst & Young" – a photography project that involved 350 black and white disposable cameras, mass staff participation, a professional photographer, a gallery curator and an amazing client launch...

UBS Investment Bank – High Potentials

UBS logoWe have been on a journey that has seen us travel from London to New York to Hong Kong and back again working with some of the most talented leaders in one of the world’s largest investment banks.

Our client is Executive Director for Human Resources at UBS and from our first tentative meeting a few years back, we have built a relationship with him of mutual trust, creative challenge and collaborative working...

Cultural Leadership Programme

Cultural Leadership Programme logoOver the last four years, we have become a key partner of the Cultural Leadership Programme, helping them to deliver their remit of building the leadership capacity of individuals and organisations in the UK cultural sector (arts, museums, libraries, archives and creative industries).

We have done this through a range of connected and varied Programmes

T Systems

T Systems logoOur client was leading a high level project to bid for a multi-million euro deal to design and build a Unified Communications infrastructure for a global travel company. He knew that winning this bid was going to be tough and he wanted the client to really appreciate how the international expertise and depth of experience of T Systems could pull together to deliver. In order to get this absolutely right, they knew he had one window of opportunity to build a convincing, creative and technically robust team.

And this is where we came in; using films, idea generation techniques, simulations and facilitated workshops, we helped the team come together over around a clear sense of their journey ahead...
